March 14, 2017

Waking up today in the midst of a blizzard when our winter was going so nicely is… well, it is a pain in the ass.

At 8am the snow was coming down in thick clumps and already beginning the bury what was completely exposed merely hours ago.

Millions are stuck indoors looking out with the same question:  How long is this going to last?

Don’t ask the weather channel… they are all still drunk from the realization that they finally got a forecast right.  But one win in a sea of losses does not say much for future predictions, in my opinion.

So while it is heavy outside, we will do our best to be thankful that somebody along the way invented efficient heat and efficient homes for us to remain within.

And for some, it is easy to always look at the bright side.  And their smile makes the rest of us smile.  What greater gift than that?

As I write this the temperature must be rising a bit because the heavy clumps of snow have changed to what sounds like freezing rain.  But the wind has also picked up tremendously so we will have too just wait and see what the result of all this will be.

…Next week is Spring.

Cheers-
