Recently my wife and I were discussing seasonal affective disorder and how it leaves me feeling completely drained. During the course of the conversation she inquired if I considered sun lamps, salt rooms, et cetera.
While those are valid options for some… I had to defer using the reason that I am very similar to my Mom in regards to what I seek in the winter and she has tried those artificial cures in the past without any luck.
Everything we need can be summed up in the photograph above that I was fortunate enough to grab last weekend. The Jersey Shore, The Atlantic, and the Sun.
I especially like the way the sunrise is fighting through the gray cover of winter in this shot.
So this post is to share with everyone who may need it this gray time of year. Especially you, Mom. ; )
